I am using this in conjunction with an IQ Air purifier. The litter box smell has completely disappeared. It's not cheap, but I can confirm it works! Overall I do recommend this product for eliminating odor, but I also recommend adding a bigger air purifier to work in tandem with it.

I've been using this for a year and a half. It was essential that I reduce the smell of the litter box~ I have three cats and all three of their litter boxes are in an oversized walk-in closet in my office. I recently built some shelves for their boxes and took down the 'Purrified Air Litter Box Air Purifier' to do it. I had gotten used to the filter removing the smell all this time, so that when I wasn't using it any longer it was like a slap in the face! haha. I never noticed the smell when it was installed. I contributed the lack of smell to the filter yes, but also the type of box I was using, the litter, etc. I am just about to reinstall it on the wall, but thought it was worthy of writing a review. It's not the most attractive thing in the world, but it works better than anything else I've tried, and I try out a lot of cat products. ie, I've tried all the electric/robot litter boxes, and more. Anyway, it also feels good supporting a small business that really seems to value research! I get it that it might seem pricey, but I really don't think there's anything comparable to getting rid of the smell! Btw, I have no affiliation to the company, I wasn't asked to review and I didn't get anything for doing it. Just trying to help my fellow cats lovers! (2 of the photos attached show part of my litter box situation (I'm on here to buy more media, so the media is missing in the photo; 1 photo is proof of two of my cat babies at work :-)

My cat is 18 years old and is not long for this world. His digestive track has changed. And his poo has become unbearable. We keep his litter box in a separate room. And we keep HEPA filters air filtersin the same room. But it’s gotten to the point that they made no difference. We were at our wicks end as to how to effectively deal with the litter box odor. On top of that a year ago, he stopped covering his poo up. It made for a very unpleasantstressful situation. Then we bought a Buddha dome litter box in the temp to help slow down and contain the odor. We also found the option for a high-powered exhaust fan that could go on top that had a charcoal filter. I was skeptical, but we had to try something. There were two options for mounting. One on the very top of the unit and one so it could be mounted nearby. We chose the one to go directly on top of the Buddha box. It worked wonderfully. It’s a little loud. But thankfully, it’s in the other room. It didn’t bother him or frighten him in anyway. Part of my concern was how hard it would be to clean the litter box every day or multiple times a day with the fan attached. But it really is no big deal. All I do is remove the mount and fan together and place it on the floor next to the litter box. Remove the lid like I normally would do. Do what needs to be done to clean it. Then put the lid back on and pick the mountain fan and put it back on top of the lid. I found it to be very easy to work with. But if someone can’t lift a few pounds or has dexterity issues they also have a model that can be mounted above or next to the litter box. We’re supposed to change the charcoal filters every six months. But as yet we’re still working on the first install of charcoal filters. Could not be happier with this product. It’s expensive but worth every penny. Love my cat to bits and pieces. So glad we got over that stressful issue.
