This fan has been helpful. The cat litter box I use this for is still open to the rest of the room, so you can still tell when a poop has hit the box. It does help reduce odor in the space overall. Please not I cut vents in the top of a Tidy Cats Breeze Litterbox hinged enclosure and secured the fan to the top with the Velcro fasteners that came with the fan. I just have to be a little careful removing the enclosure lid for cleaning, but it's worked out fine so far.

We have been struggling with the smell of our two cats' litter for years. I'm our home, the only place we can keep their box is in my office space, so I've been looking for a solution to the stink they create when they use it. Even the best litter and most potent additives don't completely block the smell, but this product does! We have an enclosed litter box and I cut holes on the top of it to allow air to pass through the Purrified Air cleaner. The room hasn't been this free of litter smells in years!

Just about the only thing I would change about it would be to use a Noctua fan instead of the standard computer case fan that comes with the unit. Noctua fans are exceptionally quiet. Maybe the seller could offer a "whisper quiet" upgrade option on the website? Just a suggestion.
